It can seem like a daunting task when seeking help for anxiety, depression, gender identity and expression, grief, life transitions, loss and suicide. With so much mainstream attention placed on mental health and well-being, it can be difficult to decipher what it means for you. Whether you are in a moment of complete panic or in a journey of self-discovery, we can take the time together to explore your evolving needs.
My counselling approach is strength-based and solution-focused. Our conversations will provide an empathetic, non-judgemental space for you to express how “problems” you encounter are in conflict with your core beliefs. We will identify ways to defy and resist them, while allowing you to live in integrity and reconnect with your preferred outcomes.
My practice is founded on the belief that people are not their “problems”, and that they are greater than the sum of the events in their lives. You've already accomplished the hardest step in looking for help, let's take the next one together.
